What is the YGA?
The Young Greens of America is the youth arm of the Green Party of the United States, part of a larger worldwide green movement. The YGA is made up of individual members that form local chapters around cities, neighborhoods, counties and campuses across the country.
Who are Young Greens?
Young Greens are any person who is committed to the Ten Key Values of the Green Party and is aged 35 or younger. Membership is free and anyone can join.
What does the YGA do?
The YGA is a political organization. We elect Green Party candidates, work on issue campaigns and organize our community on behalf of the Ten Key Values. We train Young Greens to run for office, manage campaigns, organize and mobilize their community and get involved directly with the Green Party. We coordinate issue-based action, organize our peers and work for a better, greener America.
